UPI Lite is a simplified version of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) that allows users to make transactions through UPI without having to download a separate UPI app or mobile banking app. UPI Lite is essentially a simplified UPI interface that can be accessed through a mobile browser or a messaging app.

UPI Lite एक सरलीकृत संस्करण है जो यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) को सुलभ बनाता है और उपयोगकर्ताओं को UPI द्वारा लेन-देन करने में मोबाइल बैंकिंग एप या अलग से UPI एप डाउनलोड करने की जरूरत नहीं होती है। UPI Lite मूल रूप से एक सरल यूपीआई इंटरफेस है जो मोबाइल ब्राउज़र या मैसेजिंग ऐप के माध्यम से उपयोग किया जा सकता है।

UPI Lite के माध्यम से, उपयोगकर्ता बुनियादी UPI लेन-देन जैसे पैसे भेजना और प्राप्त करना, खाते का शेष राशि जांचना और यूपीआई पिन जेनरेट करना जैसे कुछ आसान लेन-देन कार्य कर सकते हैं। हालांकि, विशेषता जैसे बिल भुगतान और व्यापारी लेन-देन आदि UPI Lite में उपलब्ध नहीं हो सकती हैं।
